Party 87.7 Is On

As ALL ACCESS reported over the weekend (NET NEWS 10/31), JVC MEDIA's plans to take over the Top 40/Dance programming on WNYZ-LP (87.7)/NEW YORK beginning TODAY (11/2) at 6a, with the moniker PARTY 87.7, are complete.

The simulcast of WPTY (PARTY 105.3 & PARTY 105.1)/LONG ISLAND, under PARTY VP/Co-owner/morning show host VICTOR CANALES, (aka VIC LATINO), kicked off without a hitch. Check it out. LADY GAGA was a guest this morning.

The new site, www.partymusicleader.com, will be live TODAY at 5p.

Answering one of many questions that have cropped up about the new operation and how serious a player it hopes to be in NEW YORK CITY, ALL ACCESS hears that PARTY 87.7 will encode for PPM within the next two weeks.
