WFUV To Upgrade Its Antenna

FORDAM UNIVERSITY Triple A WFUV/NEW YORK is preparing to improve reception in MANHATTAN and NEW JERSEY by upgrading its main antenna. 

However, while construction is taking place over the next several weeks the main station, as well as its HD offerings, will be off the air from 8a to 4p on weekdays from November 5th-18th. WFUV will resume normal broadcasting from 4p to 8a during these weekdays, while regular weekend programming will continue uninterrupted. Throughout the entire period of construction, listeners will be able to hear regular programming as usual online at www.wfuv.org.

"This is something we've been working on for more than a year," said WFUV General Manager RALPH JENNINGS. "The antenna upgrade is part of WFUV's ongoing efforts to bring its broadcast signal to more listeners throughout the entire NEW YORK metropolitan area."
