The FCC Media Bureau has modified its threshold analysis of 28 groups of mutually exclusive noncommercial FM applications because settlement proposals will allow some of the groups to be divided into smaller groups, making more grantable allocations possible.
The resulting split involved several applications in NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA, TEXAS, and NEW MEXICO, with two groups being split into four smaller groups; ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA ROMAN CATHOLIC PARISH (for GREENE, NY), DUQUESNE UNIVERSITY (MARION CENTER, PA), and SCURRY COUNTY JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT (SNYDER, TX) were the tentative selections for three of the stations, and CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES OF THE VALLEY, INC. (for BROWNFIELD, TX) and PROMESA (SEMINOLE, TX) will be sent to a comparative hearing for the final group.
