Fields & Zinn Launch McMurry Entertainment Group

Artist management veteran HOWARD FIELDS and veteran publisher EVERETT ZINN have announced the launch of the NASHVILLE-based independent music company McMURRY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP (MEG). 

FIELDS and ZINN will partner with WYOMING businesswoman DORIS McMURRY for a record label and management company all under the MEG name. A distribution deal and artist signings will be announced in the coming weeks.

A&R consultant LARRY SHELL will head up MEG's A&R efforts. SHELL was most recently VP/A&R at BROKEN BOW RECORDS/NASHVILLE. His past career stops include POLYDOR RECORDS and A&M RECORDS. 

Veteran music industry publicist CLAIRE COOK will oversee publicity for the new company and consult on public relations and marketing efforts. COOK's previous stops include stints at EMI AMERICA, CAPITOL RECORDS, MAGNATONE RECORDS and DREAMCATCHER ENTERTAINMENT.
