Motor vehicle homicide charges against former METRO NETWORKS/ENTERCOM Sports WEEI-A/BOSTON part-time sports update anchor ROB FINNERTY have been dismissed after he pleaded guilty to operating under the influence.
FINNERTY, whose license has been suspended for three years and who will serve community service and three years' probation, hit and killed 19-year-old MICHAEL RILEY while driving last NOVEMBER; the homicide charges were dismissed after testing showed that no driver, whether drunk or not, could have avoided hitting RILEY.
