Chicago Newsman Burleigh Hines Dies At 77

Condolences to family and friends of longtime CHICAGO newsman BURLEIGH HINES, who died SUNDAY (11/8) at 77. 

HINES worked in radio at CBS News WBBM-A/CHICAGO in 1968-74 before moving to sister TV station WBBM-TV as Editorial Director and, later, reporter, where he worked until his 2001 retirement.  He began as a reporter for newspapers in MEMPHIS and CHICAGO.
