WDJX Interview With Miley Turns Very Revealing

When MAINLINE Top 40 WDJX/LOUISVILLE PD BEN DAVIS set out to interview MILEY CYRUS before a local appearance last week, little did he know that a simple question would set off such a chain of events.

While discussing her recent #1 single, "Party In The U.S.A.," DAVIS asked MILEY which JAY-Z song she was referring to in the lyrics. In her reply, CYRUS explained she didn't write the song; further she couldn't name any songs by JAY-Z.

This revelation lead to other comments about Pop music, which caught the attention of several media outlets, including PEREZ HILTON, VH1.com, US MAGAZINE, even MSN! The clip even aired on the ELVIS DURAN program yesterday. The original interview, complete with BEN’S daughters in attendance, was also featured on TMZ . watch here.

Only one thing about the whole thing has DAVIS kicking himself in the posterior region -- and it's a lesson we can all learn from -- as he tells ALL ACCESS, "I was recording it with our station in mind. I never thought to repeat our call letters over and over throughout the interview!"
