HAWAII group VISIONARY RELATED ENTERTAINMENT, LLC resolves a long-standing conflict between its partners by splitting into two after a court battle ended in breaking up the company. Partner JOHN DETZ will get the MAUI cluster and $70,000 covering deferred payments, while JASON WOLFF's FRONTIER RADIO INVESTORS will get the rest of the company's stations and a promissory note from VISIONARY for $500,000 over 10 years. VISIONARY will also get $123,000 for reimbursement and expenses.
DETZ' VISIONARY will get Hawaiian KHEI-F (RADIO IMUA), Talk KAOI-A, Country KDLX, AC KAOI-F (I FM), and Hawaiian/Reggae KNUQ (Q103), translators K277AW, K277AX, K244AG, and K244DN, and booster KNUQ-FM1/MAUI.
FRONTIER's OHANA BROADCAST COMPANY LLC will get Talk KQNG-A, Top 40 KQNG-F (KONG), AC KUAI-A, AC KSRF (THE SURF 95.9), Classic Rock KSHK (SHAKA 103), and translators K280EZ and K233AK/KAUAI; Sports KUMU-A (THE TEAM), AC KUMU-F, Classic Hits KPOI (105.9 THE RIDE), Top 40 KQMQ (93.1 THE ZONE), AC KMKK, Top 40/Rhythmic KDDB (102.7 DA BOMB), and FM translator K284AL/HONOLULU; and AC KTBH/HILO, assigned to WOLFF's OHANA BROADCAST COMPANY II LLC.
