Comment Gets Talk Show Canceled In NH

Drops Lambert's Show

NASSAU BROADCASTING Talk WEMJ-A/LACONIA, NH has dropped a weekend talk show after one of the show's co-hosts made a gay-targeted slur about the NEW HAMPSHIRE DEMOCRATIC PARTY Chairman on a webcast feed after last week's show. 

DOUG LAMBERT, a blogger who co-hosted the SATURDAY morning show, "MEET THE NEW PRESS," with SKIP MURPHY, verbally attacked Democrat RAY BUCKLEY on the web feed, using an offensive term for gays and calling him "reprobate."  Several Republicans as well as Democrats condemned LAMBERT's comments about BUCKLEY, who is openly gay. 

LAMBERT has apologized for the comment, but the show has been dropped by WEMJ and LAMBERT has also lost a weekly column in the LACONIA DAILY SUN.
