RIVER VALE MEDIA FOUNDATION, INC. is transferring the permit for FM translator W296BT/BROOKLYN, NY, recently granted by the FCC, to APPLE 107.1, INC., with MICHAEL and TAMMY CELENZA giving RIVER VALE owners YOUNG D. KWON and EUN D. KWON $10,000 for 40 shares of stock in the new permittee. The KWONS will hold 60 shares. The translator, dropped in the gap between the suburban/exurban NEW YORK 107.1 Class A FMs (once simulcast), will throw its power over MANHATTAN.
In another deal filed with the FCC, VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC is selling Variety KTUG (LEDGE 105.1)/HUDSON-RIVERTON-LANDER, WY to SHANE HAYNES and KEVIN TIPPETS' HIGHER CALLING COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $115,000. The buyers are operating the station under a time brokerage agreement.
