KTCZ’s ‘Cities 97 Sampler Volume 21’ Sells Out In Hours

CLEAR CHANNEL Triple A KTCZ/MINNEAPOLIS’ "The Cities 97 Sampler," the longest running non-profit radio CD in the country, released its 21st volume on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19th. The limited amount of 30,000 copies went on sale beginning at 8a exclusively at Target stores for $24.97. And in less than three hours, all 30,000 copies had been sold!

One hundred percent of the proceeds go to local charities serving the homeless, the hungry, the disabled, seniors, families, women, seriously ill children and animals. The sale of this year’s CD puts the all time total raised for charity from sampler proceeds over $8 million .

This year’s edition features 20 never-before-released performances recorded live in concert or in Cities 97’s Studio C. It includes selections from ADELE, JAKOB DYLAN, THE FRAY, ERIC HUTCHINSON, THE JAYHAWKS, RAY LAMONTAGNE, AMOS LEE, INGRID MICHAELSON, JAMES MORRISON, JASON MRAZ, MATT NATHANSON, PARACHUTE, SNOW PATROL and others
