NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO morning news anchor CARL KASELL is retiring at the end of the year, according to a memo sent to NPR employees reproduced at the POYNTER INSTITUTE's JIM ROMENESKO blog.
The memo says that KASELL, who joined NPR in 1975, will continue to serve as judge and scorekeeper for the network's weekend "WAIT WAIT ... DON'T TELL ME."
