LAST.FM has generated nearly one million new registrants in the U.S. and U.K since the launch of the application on TUESDAY, NOV. 17th, thanks to its partnership with MICROSOFT’s XBOX LIVE, which incorporates it into the gaming platform,
LAST.FM created more new user profiles within 24 hours of the launch than at any other time in the service’s history, signing up XBOX LIVE members at an average of 300 per minute. Additionally, more than 120 million minutes of LAST.FM music have been streamed through the XBOX 360 in the U.S. and U.K. since the application debuted last week.
"LAST.FM continues to drive innovation by creating unique and customized user experiences," CBS INTERACTIVE MUSIC GROUP Pres. DAVID GOODMAN said. "Our impressive statistics since launch prove that LAST.FM is taking the gaming platform by storm, and we look forward to the next big opportunity to engage our audience and expose new users to our world-class brand."
