DONNY OSMOND, who hosts BBRN’s syndicated radio feature "8 Track Playback," which airs on CITADEL Classic Hits WLS-F/CHICAGO, CBS Oldies WODS/BOSTON and some 60 other stations, edged out hip-hop singer/actress MYA and OZZY’s punky progeny KELLY OSBOURNE to become champion of ABC’s "Dancing With The Stars."
OSMOND’s twinkling toes outlasted a field that also included the likes of NFL star MICHAEL IRVIN, teen heartthrob AARON CARTER and teen witch MELISSA JOAN HART. The win is just the latest reason for the 51-year-old entertainer to be thankful this weekend as OSMOND’s residency engagement at the FLAMINGO LAS VEGAS with sister MARIE has been extended through 2010.
AC stations are adding his collaboration with BON JOVI guitarist RICHIE SAMBORA called "I Have You To Thank," and the Classic Hits, AC and Oldies radio feature he hosts called "8 Track Playback" surpassed the 60 affiliate mark in recent weeks.
