Cherry Creek To Sell Remaining Billings Station
In a postscript to the previous deal in which CHERRY CREEK RADIO sold three stations in BILLINGS, MT to CONNOISSEUR MEDIA, CHERRY CREEK's CEO JOE SCHWARTZ told the BILLINGS GAZETTE that CHERRY CREEK will sell its remaining BILLINGS station, Top 40 KYYA (Y-93 FM), by the end of the year. "We have no interest in operating just one station in BILLINGS," said SCHWARTZ. "We're working on a deal that will get the station sold." CHERRY CREEK sold Talk KBLG-A, Classic Rock KRKX, and Alternative KRZN (THE ZONE 96.3)/BILLINGS, MT to CONNOISSEUR for $1.1 million.
