  BBC RADIO 4 has apologized after a listener caught the station airing the wrong shipping forecast at 12:48a on NOVEMBER 15th.
  Listener DAVID NEWTON noticed that the report that night was identical to one broadcast the previous day, with force 11 winds that he knew had already passed. The BBC attributed the mistake to human error.
  The shipping forecast has been a staple of the BBC since the 1920s.
