CARE BROADCASTING, INC. is selling noncommercial KHGN/KIRKSVILLE, MO to LAKE AREA EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING FOUNDATION for assumption of debt.
In another deal filed with the FCC, NICK BEREZENKO is selling FM translator K259AS/STAR VALLEY, AZ to ROCKET RADIO CORPORATION for $50,000.
The Commission also dismissed the application of VISIONARY RELATED ENTERTAINMENT to transfer several HAWAII licenses to entities owned by each of its partners in a breakup of the group. The initial application was filed on NOVEMBER 11th.
And the Commission rescinded its approval of the sale by CLAY HOLLADAY's RADIO MONROE, LLC of Top 40 KNOE-F (STAR 101.9)/MONROE, LA to HOLLADAY BROADCASTING OF LOUISIANA, LLC for $1.775 million cash. Competitor OPUS BROADCASTING MONROE, LLC filed a Petition to Deny on NOVEMBER 16th.
