KXL To Add Afternoon News Block

ALPHA BROADCASTING Talk KXL-A/PORTLAND is adding a local afternoon news block 4-6p PT weekdays starting DECEMBER 14th, according to a report at OREGON MEDIA CENTRAL.

BARBARA VOIGHT and COLBY READE will anchor the block, with MIKE BEARD at the editor's desk, CHRIS BROWN as reporter, and BILL DEIZ with traffic on the eights, plus material from the station's TV news partner, MEREDITH FOX affiliate KPTV (TV) (FOX 12). The station presently runs TALK RADIO NETWORK's MICHAEL SAVAGE in the time slot.
