KRSX Shuts Down In Barstow

EL DORADO BROADCASTING Oldies KRSX/YERMO-BARSTOW, CA has gone dark again, this time with Market Manager STEVE GARSH telling the DESERT DISPATCH that the station is planning to move to TWENTYNINE PALMS because of a lack of listeners and revenue in the BARSTOW area of the HIGH DESERT.

The station has applied to the FCC to move from its present tower location in the CALICO GHOST TOWN area just north of BARSTOW, covering the stretch of I-15 from north of VICTORVILLE to BAKER, to TWENTYNINE PALMS with 6,000 watts, covering the JOSHUA TREE-YUCCA VALLEY area of the desert.
