Alabama Pubcaster Fined By FCC

UA-ASU-TSU EDUCATIONAL RADIO CORPORATION has been fined $1,500 for a late licnse renewal application at noncommercial ALABAMA PUBLIC RADIO affiliate WAPR/SELMA, AL. 

The application was filed without explanation on JANUARY 21, 2004, almost two months after the DECEMBER 1, 2003 deadline; the licensee claimed it had filed in a timely manner and that the problem lay with the Commission's CDBS electronic filing system.
