The trial of Internet talk show host HAL TURNER, who was facing charges of making terrorist threats against three federal judges in CHICAGO, has ended in a mistrial. TURNER, who claimed that he was set up and was really working as an undercover agent for the FBI, will face a retrial on MARCH 1st after a federal jury deadlocked, reportedly at 9-3 in favor of acquittal.
U.S. District Court DONALD WALTER has placed TURNER and lawyers for both sides under a gag order preventing them from talking about the case until the new trial begins.
TURNER also faces separate charges in CONNECTICUT for allegedly inciting violence against state officials.
