COMSTAR MEDIA has acquired FAMILYNET TELEVISION and FAMILYNET RADIO. Among the assets acquired by COMSTAR MEDIA include FAMILYNET TELEVISION's 26 million television households and FAMILYNET RADIO's 11 million subscribers (through SIRIUS Satellite Radio).
"FAMILYNET is a critical acquisition for COMSTAR because it triples our reach into 50 million households," COMSTAR MEDIA Pres./CEO CHRIS WYATT said. "We are aggressively acquiring distribution and technology that will position us to become the premiere network in the increasingly important family market."
"IN TOUCH took FAMILYNET as far as possible with our available resources. Its growth and success occurred with a swiftness we never could have expected," IN TOUCH MINISTRIES COO PHILLIP BOWEN said. "When this opportunity with COMSTAR MEDIA presented itself, we understood it was God taking FAMILYNET to the next level."
The addition of FamilyNet Radio will provide access to some of the most popular syndicated radio programs including "Focus on the Family," "In Touch With DR. CHARLES STANLEY," and "The DAVE RAMSEY Show."
