The CRTC has approved NORTHERN NATIVE BROADCASTING's application to add low-power transmittrs at ALKALI LAKE and FORT BABINE, BC to rebroadcast English- and Aboriginal-language Native Type B station CFNR/TERRACE, BC.
The agency also approved adding low power transmitters at various spots across northern BRITISH COLUMBIA for which NORTHERN NATIVE mistakenly thought no license was needed due to an exemption order regarding certain Native stations. Those transmitters are at AIYANSH, ANAHIM LAKE, BELLA COOLA, CANYON CITY, CHESLATTA, DOG CREEK, INGENKIA, KITWANCOOL, KITWANGA, KLEMTU, MASSET, MCLEOD LAKE, NEMIAH VALLEY, NEW BELLA BELLA, PORT SIMPSON, PRINCE RUPERT, REDSTONE FLAT, SKIDEGATE, SMITHERS, TACHIE, and TOOSEY INDIAN RESERVE.
