AEROSMITH lead singer STEVEN TYLER has gone into rehab again, this time to treat an addiction to painkillers. The medication was used to help TYLER, 61, cope with over a decade of performance injuries.
DR. BRIAN MCKEON released a statement, noting that orthopedic injuries, such as the one last AUGUST when TYLER fell off a stage and broke his shoulder, have left the singer with severe chronic pain that will require more surgeries to several parts of his body.
TYLER, who previously went into rehab to get off drug and alcohol dependency, said in a statement,"I love AEROSMITH, I love performing as the lead singer in AEROSMITH. I am grateful for all of the support and love I am receiving and am committed to getting things taken care of."
