Major Executive Appointments At ESPN Radio

ESPN RADIO has made several executive changes, chief among them is the appointment of MO DAVENPORT as SVP. He will be responsible for the leadership, management and oversight of ESPN Audio, which includes ESPN RADIO, and all related content created for digital platforms and ESPN Station Group.
TIM MCCARTHY has been promoted to a SVP post where he will oversee ESPN RADIO's owned-and-operated stations in NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, CHICAGO, DALLAS/FT. WORTH and PITTSBURGH (ESPN 1250). Previously, MCCARTHY was VP/GM of the O&Os in NEW YORK and PITTSBURGH. He will report to DAVENPORT.
ESPNEWS Sr. Coordinating Producer, Studio Production DAVE ROBERTS has been promoted to MCCARTHY's post as VP/GM for ESPN 1050 RADIO/NEW YORK.
Also WMVP-A/CHICAGO VP/GM JIM PASTOR has been upped to SVP of ESPNLocal.com, where he will be responsible for the strategy and development of ESPN's local station websites, coordinating the cross-departmental initiative designed to maximize the fan experience at the local level. His former post will be assumed by WMVP Dir./Sales JOHN CRAVENS.
Finally, former CITADEL BROADCASTING vet MIKE CONNOLLY has been named VP/Audio Sales. He'll oversee a team that creates and sells advertising and marketing partnership for all things ESPN Audio -- on-air, digital, mobile and on-site -- for both English-language and Spanish-language networks.
