NRG Sells 8 NW Iowa Stations To Community First

COMMUNITY FIRST BROADCASTING has acquired nine stations in NORTHWEST IOWA from NRG MEDIA. KUOO/SPIRIT LAKE, KUQQ/MILFORD/SPIRIT LAKE, KUYY/EMMETSBURG-SPENCER, KAYL-A & FM/STORM LAKE, KKIA/IDA GROVE-STORM LAKE, KSOU-A & FM/SIOUX CENTER AND KIHK/ROCK VALLEY-SIOUX CENTER officially changes ownership TODAY.
COMMUNITY FIRST is overseen by CEO NEIL LIPETZSKY, who also operates DAKOTA BROADCASTING stations KMOM and KABD/ABERDEEN, SD. He has also been involved in radio station sales and management in SIOUX FALLS and YANKTON, SD, as well as NORFOLK and WAYNE, NE. "We look forward to working with the staff of these stations in serving the communities of NORTHWEST IOWA," he said.
"We are delighted to transfer these great radio stations to COMMUNITY FIRST, another broadcasting group that understand the importance of providing service to our communities ," NRG CEO MARY QUASS said.
