Daniels Exits Austin

After six years, CLEAR CHANNEL/AUSTIN OM MAC DANIELS has exited.

CLEAR CHANNEL/AUSTIN includes the Country combo of KASE and KVET, for which MAC handled the day-to-day PD duties. This was MAC's 2nd tour at KASE/KVET. He spent many years at KASE before leaving for CLEAR CHANNEL Country WMZQ/WASHINGTON, followed by a 2-year stint as PD at CBS Country WMZQ/WASHINGTON D.C., before returning to KASE in 2004.

When asked who would be taking over DANIELS' former responsibilities, McKAY commented that it was still undecided.
