Early morning 5-7a "DAWN PATROL" host SARAH KENNEDY is exiting BBC RADIO 2 after 17 years with the station, reports THE GUARDIAN.

KENNEDY, a veteran broadcaster whose controversial comments over the years landed her in hot water from time to time, has not been on the air for several weeks, and LYNN PARSONS will continue to fill in for the next four weeks until the station announces its pending schedule revamp.
