As ALL ACCESS first reported FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd (NET NEWS 9/3), MAX MEDIA Talk KTNI (101.5 THE TRUTH)/DENVER flipped to an Urban Oldies format as JAMMIN' 101.5, DENVER'S OLD SCHOOL JAMS, kicking off with NEWCLEUS' "Jam On It" and KOOL AND THE GANG's "Celebration," followed by DONNA SUMMER's "Last Dance."
Sister Top 40 KDHT (HOT 107.1) PD ZAC DAVIS is upped to OM for the cluster and will oversee JAMMIN' 101.5.
Marketing Dir. BRIAN DEGRASSE is upped to APD/MD for JAMMIN' and will retain Marketing Dir. duties as well. BRIAN will handle the day-to-day duties for JAMMIN.
ALAN BURNS will consult JAMMIN' 101.5.
ZAC DAVIS said "I was a big fan of the station four years ago and I'm glad there is still such a passion for it here in DENVER. I can't wait to build on an already loved brand. Everyone in our building from GM JEFF NORMAn to our Interns are really excited!"
"We are excited to bring JAMMIN' back to the DENVER audience! It's a radio hole in the market that had to be filled," DEGRASSE said. "After exploring numerous formats, we decided that this was the radio pocket that needed to be serviced. Big promotions are on the way, but still under wraps,"
The station will remain jockless, for now. Check out the station and listen online at www.Jammin1015.com.
