THE BOOT is reporting that rapper KANYE WEST, who infamously interrupted BIG MACHINE star TAYLOR SWIFT’s acceptance speech at last year’s MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, has spoken out about the incident on his TWITTER page after almost a year later. KANYE took the microphone away from TAYLOR after she won “Best Female Video” and claimed that BEYONCE (a fellow nominee for the award) “had one of the best videos of all time.”
Now KANYE says that he paid the price for his interruption. He wrote, “How deep is the scar ... I bled hard … cancelled tour with the number one pop star in the world [LADY GAGA] ... closed the doors of my clothing office. I wrote a song for TAYLOR SWIFT that's so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her. WHO BENEFITED FOR REAL PEOPLE???!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, TAYLOR.”
