Metro/Pittsburgh's John Pfab Awaits Heart Transplant, Raising Money For Family

Veteran METRO NETWORKS/PITTSBURGH traffic reporter JOHN PFAB is on the list awaiting a heart transplant, and, in the meantime, a fund has been set up to raise money to help his family financially through the difficult period created by his illness.

PFAB suffered a heart attack on JANUARY 2nd, followed by quadruple heart bypass surgery and a diagnosis of congestive heart failure. He finished pre-transplant testing on JULY 27th and is on the waiting list at ALLEGHENY GENERAL HOSPITAL for a new heart.
