Veteran Urban Programmer Barbara Prieto Joins AccuRadio

ACCURADIO.COM has added veteran Urban radio programmer BARBARA PRIETO, founder KURT HANSON and COO JOHN GEHRON announced TODAY (9/8). She will program and market "ACCURADIO R&B," the company’s new selection of Urban and R&B music.

PRIETO comes to ACCURADIO with a background in major-market commercial radio programming, with her experience in the 80s and 90s including stints at WGCI/CHICAGO (as Music Director and Assistant Program Director) and WKYS/WASHINGTON, D.C. (as Assistant Program Director and later as Program Director).

"I am excited to bring my music and programming skills to Internet radio," PRIETO said. "It’s a great opportunity to break new music and give expose to deserving talent. A music programmer needs to find the right product, win the listeners' respect, and keep them listening."
