PITTSBURGH COMMUNITY BROADCASTING Triple A WYEP/PITTSBURGH has announced changes to its evening programming schedule that will include a four-hour music mix show called "The Block Party." The show will feature newer acts from Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Soul and local artists, along with vintage music from the past two decades. The Block Party will air in the 8p to midnight slot.
In addition, on TUESDAYS at 7p "The Moth Radio Hour," a syndicated program, will air as a 10-week series. Each episode features true stories told without scripts, props or notes. The Moth stage show came to PITTSBURGH through a partnership between WYEP and the PITTSBURGH ARTS & LECTURES during the summers of 2009 and 2010, enjoying a successful run with sold out performances. It has now been repurposed as a radio series.
