Denver's Ticket Adds DU Hockey

FRONT RANGE SPORTS NETWORK Sports KXDP-LP (87.7 THE TICKET)/DENVER has inked a two-year deal to carry radio play-by-play of UNIVERSITY OF DENVER hockey. JAY STICKNEY will call the action for his 11th season with the PIONEERS.
"We are thrilled to partner with the premiere college hockey team in the WCHA and in all of college hockey," OM/PD TIM SPENCE said. "The DU hockey program led by head coach GEORGE GWOZDECKY is a perennial national contender, and we're pleased to welcome them as 87.7 THE TICKET's first flagship sports play-by-play program."
"We are excited to announce 87.7 THE TICKET as the new home for DU hockey," said GWOZDECKY. "For the first time in many years, all of our regular-season and postseason games with be aired on one sports radio station for the next two seasons. Our fans are going to appreciate one single FM radio home for DU hockey."
