Global Traffic Network Launches Mobile Traffic Alerts In Kansas City

GLOBAL TRAFFIC NETWORK's MOBILE TRAFFIC NETWORK subsidiary has launched its mobile traffic alert system, the Global Alert Network, in KANSAS CITY,  The system offers traffic notifications pushed to mobile phones in real-time through an advertising-supported application.

MTN CEO WILLIAM YDE said, "We are delighted to be working with such an innovative team as those at (KANSAS CITY traffic management center) SCOUT. The Departments of Transportation in both KANSAS and MISSOURI have a reputation for embracing new ideas, and we are excited to be offering the people of KANSAS CITY a safe, reliable way to receive traffic information when they really need it."
