KSJO Airs 12-Hour Request-A-Thon To Help San Bruno

CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KSJO/SAN JOSE hosted a 12-hour "CHANNEL 92.3 REQUEST-A-THON TO BENEFIT SAN BRUNO" on TUESDAY (9/14). Beginning at 10a, PD/middayer DEREK MADDEN began taking $20 song requests for the AMERICAN RED CROSS BAY AREA CHAPTER LOCAL DISASTER RELIEF to help those affected by last week's devastating SAN BRUNO fire.

MADDEN told ALL ACCESS, "Watching the news last week, it was impossible not to be affected by this story. When i saw people throughout the BAY AREA offering up rooms and food to people they didnt even know, I knew we had to create an avenue for our listeners to help. We're not fundraising geniuses, but we're damn good at picking up the phone and playing music, so a REQUEST-A-THON made perfect sense."
