KSBJ/Houston Announces Launch Of Online, HD Station NGEN

KSBJ EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Christian AC KSBJ/HOUSTON announced the upcoming launch of an online and on-air digital station called NGEN.  The new station will officially launch on NOVEMBER 18th at the "WINTER WONDER SLAM TOUR" at REED ARENA in COLLEGE STATION, TX.  The station will feature artists like TOBYMAC, SKILLET, FIREFLIGHT, GROUP 1 CREW, RELIENT K, SUPERCHICK and SWITCHFOOT.

“For years, KSBJ has been dreaming about a full-time radio station for our youth.  That day is finally here,” said KSBJ President/GM TIM McDERMOTT.  “We feel it is important to provide this ‘now’ generation of Christian youth with what they want, a station designed especially for them!  It is our hope N.GEN will capture the energy of today’s youth as well as power a world of good.”
 
Before the station launch, listeners can stay up-to-date on all NGEN details at www.NGENradio.com as well as on FACEBOOK and TWITTER.  From now until OCTOBER 1st, those who “like” the NGEN FACEBOOK page will be entered to win a free portable HD radio.
 
Beginning NOVEMBER 18th, the station will be available through HD receivers on channel 89.3 HD-2 in HOUSTON and 92.5 KWUP HD- 2 in BRYAN/COLLEGE STATION, TX.  Additionally, listeners can tune in on FM analog receivers through 93.3 in BRYAN/COLLEGE STATION and 99.7 in BRENHAM, TX.  NGEN will be accessible globally online at www.NGENradio.com.
