WUBE Raises $20,000 For USO

BONNEVILLE Country WUBE/CINCINNATI has announced its “B-105 SHOW FOR THE USO,” held on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th in COVINGTON, KY raised $20,000 for troop services. Appearing were RODNEY ATKINS, JAKE OWEN and LoCASH COWBOYS.
Tickets were $20 with all proceeds going to benefit the USO. Funds also came from a silent auction. WUBE welcomed local service men and women to the concert as its special guests and introduced representatives from the USO at the show, who thanked the crowd for its support.
PD GROVER COLLINS said: “Our first B-105 Show for the USO was a tremendous success and a very special night, thanks to the passion for Country music and generosity of B-105 listeners everywhere. Thanks also to RODNEY ATKINS, JAKE OWEN and THE LOCASH COWBOYS who donated 100 percent of their performance to the USO. We can’t wait to do this again next year!”
