Director and actor KEVIN SMITH is bringing his weekly SMODCAST podcast to SIRIUS XM RADIO's VIRUS channel with an additional new exclusive monthly edition just for the satellite service, starting SATURDAY. SMITH and his producing partner SCOTT MOSIER co-host the show, which will air at 1p (ET) SATURDAYS; a marathon of episodes will air SUNDAY (9/26) 7a-midnight (ET).
"I'm ecstatic to be a part of the SIRIUS XM family and hope folks find our SMODCAST program as funny as we do," said SMITH, the director of "CLERKS," "MALLRATS," "DOGMA," "CHASING AMY" and many more, and a frequent guest of VIRUS morning show "OPIE AND ANTHONY." "I loved when THE VIRUS promoted SMODCAST, back when we first launched the show because, every now and then, I'd be driving around listening to XM and catch SMODCAST on satellite radio."
