FCC Fines Montana Station For Late License Renewal Application

GALLATIN VALLEY WITNESS, INC. has been fined $7,000 by the FCC for a late license renewal application for Contemporary Christian KCMM (THE ONE)/BELGRADE-BOZEMAN, MT and for unauthorized operation of the station after its authorization had expired. 

The Commission rejected the licensee's defense that the slip-up was unintentional and that the fine would be a hardship on the licensee.
