The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) and ACM LIFTING LIVES held their BOARD meetings this week and have announced new officers for each organization’s separate BOARD OF DIRECTORS for the 2010-2011 term.
The ACM has announced that CRB (COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS) Executive Director BILL MAYNE has been named Chairman Of The Board. SARAH TRAHERN from GAC (GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY has been named President, BUTCH WAUGH, formerly of SONY MUSIC Co. has been appointed Treasurer. JOHN DORRIS, of HALLMARK DIRECTION CO., has been named Treasurer and PAUL MOORE of WILLIAM MORRIS ENDEAVOR was named Parliamentarian.
The ACADEMY will announce its full slate of Board Members in NOVEMBER, following membership voting which begins next week.
Newly elected Officers for ACM LIFTING LIVES include GAYLE HOLCOMB (WILLIAM MORRIS ENDEAVOR)- Chairman of the Board, MARK HARTLEY (FITZGERALD HARTLEY)- President, GARY GILBERT (MANATT, PHELPS & PHILLIPS)- VP, TIFFANY MOON (ACM)- Treasurer, and ERIN SPAHN (ACM LIFTING LIVES)- Secretary.
ACM LIFTING LIVES officer positions are voted on by the Board of Directors.
