"MIXIN" DIXON MORRISON, an on-air fixture of the MYRTLE BEACH market since the 80s, has passed away at the age of 57, according to his website, MIXONDIXON.COM, and WMBF-TV.

DIXON, who most recently handled nights for QANTUM Classic Rock WQSD, is well-known for his years on the air at other MYRTLE BEACH-area stations, including WKZQ and Z103. 

While there are no details on memorial services, DIXON's friends are turning his website into a memorial, where comments and memories may be posted. Check it out here.
