Country artist SAMMY KERSHAW has lost his bid for Lt. Governor of LOUISIANA. SAMMY also had an unsuccessful run for the office in 2007.
This year's election was held on OCTOBER 2nd and SAMMY earned 19 percent of the votes running as a REPUBLICAN. REPUBLICAN JAY DARDENNE and DEMOCRAT CAROLINE FAYARD will now face off in a run-off to claim the seat.
