Taylor Swift Wins Civil Lawsuit Versus Counterfeit Merch Sellers

The TENNESSEAN is reporting that BIG MACHINE star TAYLOR SWIFT has won a civil lawsuit she filed against 16 individuals who she claimed violated her trademark by selling counterfeit merchandise. SWIFT’s merchandise enforcement team found numerous fake items that were sold during her 2009 FEARLESS TOUR, including t-shirts with her image on them.

Sr. District Judge THOMAS A. WISEMAN JR. granted a default judgment last week permanently barring the 16 individuals named in the suit from making or selling TAYLOR SWIFT merchandise and ordered that the confiscated items be destroyed.
