Nationally syndicated morning show ACE and TJ said goodbye to a member of the show this morning following a bet involving the CAROLINA PANTHERS (NET NEWS 9/17). WHITE SHADOW bet his job that the PANTHERS, his home town team, would win a game before week 5 of the regular season. The PANTHERS loss to the BEARS puts them 0-5 for the season -- and SHADOW lived up to his end of the bet and resigned.
SHADOW came into the studio this morning to say goodbye and wanted everyone to know, "This is one of the worst days that I could imagine. Not only will I say goodbye to THE ACE & TJ SHOW, but I will say goodbye to all of my loyal listeners. The support that I have received throughout this whole thing has been nothing short of amazing. I will miss everything about this show, but will begin trying to work my way back into radio immediately."

Following his goodbye, ACE said, "This is a difficult situation for all of us, but we made it clear to SHADOW from the beginning that we had to go through with this, in order to have credibility with our radio family. He understands that and while he is no longer here as an employee he remains our friend and he will be missed."
TJ added, "What I will miss most are the unbelievable foot rubs every morning, provided by SHADOW’s magic fingers."
SHADOW will now move into a full-time position with his family’s denture business (while seeking out another radio job) and will be busy planning his upcoming wedding to fiancée AMY KERZNER.
So is he really gone ... or is the studio door open for a fun return?
