Black River Music Group To Release 'Pure Country 2'

BLACK RIVER MUSIC GROUP/NASHVILLE has announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack of the new feature film “Pure Country 2 The Gift,” which is being released to select theatres nationwide on OCTOBER 15th. The movie stars MCA RECORDS star GEORGE STRAIT, who also starred in the original “Pure Country” film, along with LESLEY ANN WARREN. The new movie features STRAIT, KATRINA ELAM and DEAN CAIN.

"We were privileged to get to be involved with the movie on so many levels that it seemed only natural for us to release the soundtrack,” said BLACK RIVER Pres. JIMMY NICHOLS. “This project represents a return to family values and the power of faith. KATRINA is a well-deserved star. We're thrilled to be a part of it all.”

The soundtrack for the film is produced by STEVE DORFF and features 14 tracks primarily featuring ELAM, but will also include a bonus track written for the movie and performed by JONATHAN CAIN, NICHOLS and SARAH DARLING.
