The GADSDEN TIMES reports that the AM dial in GADSDEN, AL got rearranged this weekend with the move of Oldies WGAD-A from 930 AM back to 1350 AM after a consent judgment resulted in COOSA RIVER COMMUNICATIONS INC. transferring 930 AM back to GADSDEN BROADCASTING.
COOSA RIVER, headed by DAVE HEDRICK, was sued by GADSDEN BROADCASTING for nonpayment under the deal by which COOSA RIVER acquired WJBY-A/GADSDEN and swapped the two stations' call letters and formats. HEDRICK told the TIMES that he may sell WGAD, now back at 1350 AM; WJBY, which had been airing a Sports format at 1350 AM, is coming off the air for a short time but plans to resume at 930 AM.
