Former HOUSTON radio personality MARK STEVENS died in his sleep early this MORNING (10/12), reports HOUSTONPRESS.COM. STEVENS was one-half of KLOL's popular STEVENS & PRUETT morning show, which aired from 1986 until 2000,

Sources told HOUSTON blogger MIKE MCGUFF that he had been suffering from Alzheimer's for some time. "It's a sad day for HOUSTON radio fans and Mother's Family (the KLOL Family)," former KLOL MD DAVID SADOF told the ROCKS OFF blog via e-mail.
