Darius Rucker Offers Bonus Tracks On iTunes, Will Receive Triple Play Award

CAPITOL RECORDS NASHVILLE artist DARIUS RUCKER’s new album, “CHARLESTON, SC 1966” was released YESTERDAY (10/12) and fans who purchase the album on iTUNES will receive two bonus tracks, “Let Her Cry” and “Family Tradition,” from RUCKER’s “CMT Invitation Only” performance.
In honor of his album release, RUCKER will be recognized by the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) TOMORROW (10/14) and presented with the “Triple Play Award” for three consecutive #1 hits in a 12-month period (“Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It” in OCTOBER 2008, “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” in MARCH 2009 and “Alright” in AUGUST 2009). Past winners of the award include ALAN JACKSON, CRAIG WISEMAN, JEFFREY STEELE, SHANIA TWAIN and TOBY KEITH.
RUCKER will continue to appear on ARISTA/NASHVILLE star BRAD PAISLEY’s “H2O World Tour” through MARCH 2011 and will be headlining the CAPITOL STREET PARTY TONIGHT (10/13) on Demonbreun Street in NASHVILLE.
