Jewel's Undercover Karaoke Inspires New TBS TV Show

VALORY MUSIC CO. artist JEWEL’s video of “Undercover Karaoke” on FunnyOrDie.com has become the inspiration for a new TV show pilot that has been ordered by TBS-TV, according to the AP. 

The video, which has logged over 3.3 million views, features JEWEL disguised in a wig, glasses, prosthetic nose and padding on her butt, singing karaoke in L.A. under a fake name and later shocking the crowd by revealing her true identity.

The show will be produced by the FUNNY OR DIE team, with contributions from co-founders WILL FERRELL and ADAM McKAY. Click here to see the original video, and click here to read more from the AP.
